Shoe Box Appeal 2020

Thank you for wishing to take part in the Shoeboxes project this year.
Here are some suggestions of things you could buy.
If possible, please bring items to St. Matt’s by Weds 4th November so these can be quarantined before Sunday Club do the packing on
Saturday 7th Nov.

Toys: Cars, skipping ropes, balls (soft ball for younger child), inflatable football with pump, musical instrument, jigsaw puzzles, card game like snap, dominoes, plasticine, plastic or wooden farm animals or dinosaurs.

School Items: biros, pencils, erasers and sharpeners, standard length crayons,

felt tip pens, exercise books, paper, solar-powered calculators, colouring books.

Non-liquid Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, wrapped bar of soap (Not highly perfumed as ruins sweets), combs, small brush, facecloth, toilet bag, hair clips, bracelets.

Sweets (no chocolate) bags of haribo, jelly babies etc with long sell buy date

Please Do Not bring the following:

war-related items: toy guns or military figures,
chocolate,
toothpaste,
liquids or lotions including bubbles,
items that need batteries,

four-suit playing cards,

anything of a religious or political nature

These boxes will bring joy and hope and the message that Jesus cares to children in difficult circumstances.
