Students and Young Adults

At St Matt’s we want to provide a space where students and young adults feel at home and part of the family. We’re a large-ish church, but we’re small enough that we can offer somewhere for you to be supported, known, and have plenty of opportunities to get involved. Most of our students and young adults come to our 6.30pm service, which is particularly aimed at this age group, but we are blessed with a diverse age range that really makes us a family. We started this service back ‘in person’ on the 6th September.

We also meet every Thursday evening at St Matt’s for Central Small Groups. At 7pm we eat together, and some join us at 8pm when we break into smaller groups to read the Bible together and pray for one another. This will start again in a ‘Covid-Secure’ way on Thursday 17th September. To enable us to comply with the necessary regulations, please email smallgroupsfood@stmstm.org.uk to book in for food, and also let us know if you’ve got any dietary requirements. There is a suggested donation of £2 for food, but students go free!

Both of these weekly gatherings are central to making our church-wide vision of being ‘passionate about Jesus’ a reality in our lives. We’d love to have you join us as we learn together what it means to follow Jesus in our world.

Do follow us on social media to see what social events we’ve got going on for Students and young adults. Otherwise, feel free to email Simon if you have any questions: simonp@stmstm.org.uk
